| A feature on the 12th movie showed Pikachu alongside a new "small, yellow" Pokemon. This Pokemon was identified by the director as an Electric-type that would save the world. The small glimpse of it doesn't resemble any known pokemon, in the trailer, as it was hidden by a question mark. It also showed a segment of Dialga, Palkia and Giratina rising out of a body of water and then attacking a glowing object in the sky.
